A seasoned, talent acquisition professional with a solid track record of providing high-caliber talent to his clients, Jeff has successfully provided nationwide executive search and recruitment-related services to a number of organizations, large and small, from start-ups to Fortune 100’s. He has successfully recruited hundreds of professionals for positions ranging from individual contributors to senior executives. He has provided talent acquisition support to his clients in the areas of recruitment and sourcing strategy, and has built and managed several successful recruiting teams.

Throughout his professional career, with an expertise in recruitment strategy planning, Jeff has developed a strong track record of quickly assessing client needs, and is adept in providing solutions specifically tailored to these needs. His extensive background in business and management has provided him with excellent insight into the organizational needs of The Adkins Group clients.  Companies that he has worked with include Microsoft, Intel, Apple, Cisco, Dell, Varian Medical Systems, and Sprint, to name a few.

Before founding The Adkins Group in 2000, Jeff was a Senior Partner of Far West Search Associates, an Austin, Texas-based executive search firm, and, before that, was a top-performing Executive Search Consultant at a technology-focused search firm, also based in Austin.

Jeff earned his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University, and a Masters Certificate in Human Resource Management from St. Edward’s University. He is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and a member of the Austin Chamber of Commerce, Austin Technology Council, and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). He has been a regular speaker on the subject of talent acquisition/management, and when time allows, provides career management/job hunt strategy advice to professionals in need.

 


 

Stephanie Foust

Stephanie Foust is a Principal Executive Search Consultant and Lead Recruiting Project Manager with The Adkins Group, Inc., an executive search and recruitment services company located in Austin, Texas. Her experience has spanned across functions including but not limited to human resources, marketing, compensation and benefits, nursing, quality, engineering, logistics, operations, accounting / finance, and product development.

Stephanie joined The Adkins Group in 2005 and has since completed numerous searches at the executive, middle management, and individual contributor level. In addition, part of Stephanie’s practice is managing non-traditional search projects. Whether as simple as managing clients’ job board postings or as complex as managing an entire outsourced recruitment effort, Stephanie integrates seamlessly with clients’ existing recruitment efforts. Every client’s recruitment needs are different and there is not always a single solution to individual clients’ staffing challenges. Stephanie is flexible and can adapt to fit individual clients’ needs creating a custom solution that fits each client’s situation like a glove.

Stephanie earned her BBA in Marketing from Texas State University, in San Marcos, Texas. She is a current member of Texas Recruiters Association, Austin Recruiters Network, Austin Chamber of Commerce, Austin Technology Council, Young Professionals for the Cure and Volunteer / Foster / Media, and Social Network Chair with Wee Rescue.

 


 

Tom Lee

Tom Lee is a seasoned industry professional with over 30-years of management experience in technology companies. After spending many years working at Intel, Tom was part of the early management team at a number of venture-funded startups. Highly successful, Tom took one of the early-stage companies through a NASDAQ IPO and also participated as a member of the founding team of a semiconductor IP company that went through a significant acquisition by a major market player. Along the way he has also been the Vice President of North American Sales for Cirrus Logic as well as running a number of product groups for this Austin-based semiconductor company.

Tom firmly believes that the primary factor that determines the success or failure of any company — large or small — is the makeup of the team building and running the company. A company can have a enviable combination of “set the world on fire” technology and “knock your socks off” products, but unless the people managing and guiding the business are not carefully chosen based on skills, personality, drive, desire and the ability to work together towards a commonest of goals, the company will not succeed. Tom specializes in building highly effective teams of people — management as well as key individual contributors — that leverage on each other’s strengths to build and create highly successful and productive companies.

Having spent years battling on the “front line” has given Tom a unique perspective of what management teams face when it comes to building a successful business. Over the course of his career, he has been part of companies that have been wildly successful and frankly, there have been a few that did not meet the management team and investor expectations. The reason that most succeeded and a few failed — the team of people put in place to build and manage the company.

Years of in the trenches business experience give Tom a deep well of knowledge and contacts to draw upon when it comes time to recruit for your company. He has developed a set of highly tuned processes and capabilities to find and hire key individuals that fit together as a single, cohesive team — all working to together to succeed.

Tom has a BS on Computer Science from the University of Oregon as well as a background in Finance.
